FutureDude founders Jeffrey and Kimberly Morris attended a gala commemorating the anniversary of the Apollo 11 flight to the moon was held on July 23, 2016 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.  Held on the 47th anniversary of Apollo 11’s historic return to earth and the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, the event was hosted by George Takei, best known for his role as Mr. Sulu in the original Star Trek television and film series. Apollo 11’s Lunar Module Pilot Astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Star Trek’s Nichelle Nichols were two of the special guests.

The gala event was hosted by the ShareSpace Foundation, nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring children’s passions for science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
