Jeffrey Morris, award-winning writer/director and founder of FutureDude Entertainment, recently attended Wonderfest 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky to present on upcoming documentary project The Eagle Has Landed.
During the event, Morris had the opportunity to interview and speak alongside actor Nick Tate, known for his role as Captain Alan Carter in the 1970s sci-fi series Space: 1999. Tate had previously expressed his support for the development of The Eagle documentary during a conversation with Morris on the podcast Todd’s Corner last February.
In addition to Tate, Morris also interviewed leaders of the Space: 1999 Props & Ships Facebook group, including Todd Morton and Gordon Moriguchi.
The event attracted attendees from across the country and served as the official kickoff for the documentary’s filming process, which Morris described as a fun and exciting way to launch the project.
Looking ahead, Morris plans to shoot more documentary footage with bestselling sci-fi author Kevin J. Anderson in Colorado in July.
